Juliet Simmons isn't so excited to start her summer going to summer school. She isn't a student you would be proud to know. She knows what she's done for herself. But she never wanted it to be that way. Behind the blond hair, mischievous look, and red uniform lies a broken and beaten down girl. Juliet has so much stress in her life. Summer school won't add more, would it? She's had enough of criticism in her years. And things are just about to change. When Juliet walks to school one day, she sees a shining object within the distance. Curious, she runs to it. Only to find herself warped into a new land. Juliet doesn't know where she is. And she doesn't want to know. She journeys herself around the land but she finds new people. Along her journey, she hears rumors about the people. They're called human marionettes. Juliet doesn't even bother to think. She just runs. Can Juliet find herself back home in time or will she pull her strings and stay in the land as a marionette herself?

Alison moved to a new town as her father got a new job, simultaneously, she decided to hide her dark past, starting a new chapter of her complicated teenage life. She tucked her auburn hair tighter into a bun and searched for the next class when she passed a group of boys right outside the designated class. Clutching her hand inside the sweatshirt pocket, she watched as the bulky brown haired boy slammed his fist against the wall right beside the poor boy's face, glaring as the boy flinched, slumping his head further down. "What are you looking at!" He snapped, noticing the unfamiliar girl stood watching them. "Is this rude guy bothering you?" She ignored, asking the poor boy instead, earning a scoff from the baffled brown haired boy. Their first encounter was of mutual dislike. As they continue to bicker and argue on every possible occasion, Jason could not help but felt rather intrigued with Alison. Hidding behind her thick glasses, her enticing blue eyes captured his interest with secrets he wished to unfold. A story about bullying, friendship, falling in love and overcoming problems.
