Jane, a pioneer of women independence in the 1960s, decides to move from the city to the beach. There she finds a tiki bar, bikers, surf boarders, and her ex hanging out with both crowds. While there she befriends Lillen and the biker girls. However, Lillen indulges Jane about her crush on Jane's ex. This doesn't stop Jane from being friends with Lillen, teaching her and the biker girls how they can be happy without the validation from men. But even so, romance ensues.
