Stars Brigade is an organisation, created to protect the planets' dimensions from a bunch of criminals known as Sevens. Sevens are after a specific family, whose seven year old daughter is an usagimimi with wings. Her name is Alexa Blaine and she is the daughter of Arch angel Michael and Juliet, the grand daughter of Princess Kaguya. Alexa trains at Stars Brigade along with her cousin Jordan Masters, an usagimimi named Miki Tsubaki and a nekomimi named Takuto Kimura.
When they reach the age of seventeen, they become official Stars Brigade members and have their own team.
The people they encounter on their adventures give many clues about the mysterious supernova in the year 8080 that destroyed half Alta Tu, one of Jupiter's three dimensions. They also learn why Sevens are after Alexa.

(From the World of Azur Lane....with a bit of Inspiration from Invincible and a few characters from Orville....and Space Force) The Earth was in crisis mode, an unknown Alien Race has attacked and destroyed a far flung Research Station about 3 Light Years away. To prevent further loss of life and to fight this threat, Humanity once more turned to the KAN-SEN program, managing to scrounge up 7 active Wisdom Cubes from deep storage to fight the threat. These 7 Cubes formed 7 Space Going KAN-SEN who had a very tall order in front of them, identify the assailants, stop the attacks, and bring a lasting peace to the universe. Unbeknownst to anyone involved however, 2 of these KAN-SEN were not pleased with serving human masters.

In an alternate timeline, the human race found a way to create superpowers. By extracting energy from stars and inserting that energy into humans, 'powers' were created. Powers allowed humans to gain unnatural abilities such as flight, invisibility, super strength or in other words, superpowers. Of course, with the introduction of something so revolutionary, people rose up in the hundreds of thousands in an event known as the Great Rebellion. The insurgents banded together under a single banner and became collectively known as the Shadow, marking the beginning of the Cosmic Wars. Out of the darkness, the Gazers were born. Using what remained of the power technology, the Gazers singlehandedly perished the evil and ended the conflict. However, there was a price to pay. Powers put a toll on the human body and had serious mental and physical repercussions. The solution was to recruit children from the age of 13 to 18 and train them so their bodies would adapt to their powers, eventually becoming immune to all negative side effects. The end of the Cosmic Wars brought forth a new age of peace and prosperity that the world had never seen before.
