To distract from the recent break up Tucker heads off on another deployment but this one has a bad ending.

Emily "Falcon" Mitchell and Bradley "Rooster" Bradshaw have known each other their entire life. With their fathers being best friends, it was obvious that the two of them would hang out all the time. When Bradley and Emily were only about four years old, Bradley's father passed away while flying with Emily's dad, Pete "Maverick" Mitchell. Emily and Bradley always stayed the best of friends even through their teens and into the Naval Academy and Top Gun.
