Maggie wants to be a writer. But in order to do that, she has to write an original story to submit and she has nothing. 
Back home for the summer, Maggie wants to write and hang out with her friends, until her mom tells her if she needs money, she's going to have to work. 
Desperate not to fall so far from her summer goals, Maggie gets a job at her local bookstore, where she meets the most curious guy ever, Harley. 
Suddenly Maggie is inspired to write about him, so she starts spending time with him for the sake of her story. 
But what happens when she starts having feelings for him? What's more important in the end, love or her chance to fulfill her dream?
