Promise (Frodo Baggins Fanfic)

"Do you promise you'll come back?"
He nodded his head and looked at me with his baby blue eyes. "I promise, Fara," he said sweetly.
"And you won't forget me?"
"Not for a second."

Fara Galpsi and Frodo Baggins have been friends for years and secretly made plans together. Until Gandalf decided to interrupt those plans... Fara does not expect for Frodo to be gone as long as he was and fears she has been forgotten. When he finally does return to the Shire, he is not the same Hobbit she fell in love with.
