The apocalypse is hanging on,  ten years after the initial zombie outbreak.
Humans have started to regroup,  rebuild, and inspire. 
But the infection is still dormant in the human body. 
They need a cure, and for just a moment they had it. 
A woman,  the fittest to survive in this new world, remained immune to the infectious bite. 
Her peers took her, experimented on her, desperate for her immunity - due to their brutality and fixation, she died. 

This story follows her daughter, Ash. Hunted for years by fellow survivors, they will do anything to get their hands on her. In this nightmarish world, fraught with danger, can she learn to trust her enemies? An enemy far worse than zombies? An enemy with gorgeous eyes?

Bella, she has a hard past, with her religious family, abusive father and so much more. So she runs away and lives on her own. One day she witnesses these doctors make this concoction that turns people into zombies. After she witnessed that her while life along with the while world changed. she needs to figure out how to survive in this new world. After being on her own for some time, she comes across people. Which is hard for her considering she never was able to be around people. Shes not a people person. Shes a closed off, strong willed, lone wolf. Shes needs to learn how to survive with the dead walking around. Will she be able to survive with the new people she's going to meet? Will she be able to protect herself and other with her past on her shoulders? Read to find out.
