Two years have passed and finally with his therapist's approval, Jayson can be deployed overseas to Syria on another mission however not without a new addition to his team a skilled Army medic named Devin Vincent who also has a mission of her own to keep her eye on Jayson in case he does something he regrets.
Arriving in Syria brings back memories that Devin wants to run away from, and that Jayson wants to run towards as they both realize that they are intertwined with the same threat. Someone who they both couldn't forget and who ruined their lives in different ways. A man named Ehsan Ali has been waiting for both of them to return and finish what he started.
