International media sensation Brittany Broski decides she needs a break from the hustle and bustle of Los Angeles. She embarks on what is supposed to be a year-long vacation in the small village of Cornswollow in Gloucestershire County, England. When she finally arrives, she discovers a perfect oasis of people who have no idea who she is- normal villagers going about their lives. What she doesn't expect is her next-door neighbor being perhaps the only person in the world she never wanted to see again: a certain member of a certain boy band long since split in different directions. Not only is her life turned upside down for the millionth time since getting fired at the bank, she decides she maybe doesn't ever need it to change again.
