Jeon Jungkook has lived his entire life as a loner, he wasn't used to being cared for nor was he ever truly loved for who he was by everyone around him. And that was okay really, he pretty much got a hang of it at an early age and accepted his fate without much complaint. But, everything suddenly changes when a new neighbor moves into the same apartment complex as him and ended up taking quite an interest in him. The newly found attention on himself was unlike anything Jungkook had ever experienced before, so he wasn't quite certain on how best to react. It also didn't help that Kim Seokjin, the so called new neighbor, was a man with a lot of dirty secrets to hide.

Taehyung doesn't want any feelings. He has spent years keeping people out, burying himself in work, and pretending he is fine. Not because he's lonely, just because it's easier that way. He's pushed away everyone who's tried to change that. Then there's Jeon Jungkook...a soft and sweet boy. Who is still figuring out what love even means. He's not sure if he's ready for the kind of feelings that come with it. But what happens when life throws them together anyway? When fate decides to mess with their plans? Will they learn to understand each other, or will they always feel like two people forced into something they never wanted?
