gon who was an high schooler was nearing an exam and he felt like he couldn't do it.. until his "best friend" told him about this famous shrine, gon thought it was an good idea to go there and pray, he went there in the end of school and entered the shrine, it was so dirty as if no one came there for years or even decades, so much for an "popular shrine" 

he entered and prayed to pass the exam, he thought it was abandoned.. to make sure he rang the bell but it seemed to be stuck so he pulled harder and BOOM! 

the bell fell down and made an loud crash, he heard an door opened looked to see an boy who looked like same age as him with..tails and ears..? and saw the bell and became pissed off
