The bond between Ransom and Howard Stark, Tony Stark's father, grew stronger with each passing day, becoming an inseparable friendship. However, their lives took an unexpected turn when Howard embarked on an ambitious project to construct a time machine. The intended purpose was to transport Ransom to the future and bring her back safely. Still, an unforeseen malfunction occurred during the experiment, leaving Ransom stranded in the unfamiliar year of 1999.
