This story takes place in a fictional world, specifically a nation called Dunamis.
A young pair of twins, born to the king of Dunamis, Leonidas, experience years of trauma and abuse.
They cross paths with a curer and his best friend who escaped war that happened in a nation Dunamis shares borders with.
All 4 of them plan a mass rebellion against Leonidas.
