This is a song about something what started as sweet but ended bitterly. The title inspiration is that a grapefruit is described as bittersweet which I feel captivates this song. I am open to all feedback and will take any comments into consideration and use in my work. I am however only doing this as a hobby as I have no desire to become a songwriter professionally. Yep, I'm back with another songwriting era, this time a total contrast to the previous songwriting sessions of 'Faded Daydreams'. I'm personally reflecting upon the aftermath of when my ignorance was bliss, about how it all truly feels like once the daydreams fade and it turns out that it was all just Tainted Illusions to cope. Falling down from cloud 9 and into the total truth, to face a range of emotions I managed to push away and shove aside for four months. Perhaps it's time I face them in order to conclude that chapter of my life. When I found old song drafts from earlier this year, I figured that it would be cool to continue on that storyline and timeframe in order to personally put it behind once and for all. In order to step into the daylight, one must riot through the dark midst first, no matter how cloudy it gets. I'm welcoming the storm proudly :) Started: April 27th Completed: TBD

"𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅 𝒃𝒓𝒆𝒂𝒌 𝒎𝒚 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒕 𝒊𝒏 𝒕𝒘𝒐 𝒃𝒖𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝒊𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒂𝒍𝒔, 𝒊𝒕 𝒃𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒚𝒐𝒖" ••• People meet by accident, People fall in love by accident, But people surely don't become someone's baby daddy accidentally, or do they? What started as an innocent lie, trapped them into a marriage, entwining their fates with unexpected partners. But here's the catch, the marriage won't last forever, the holy bond wasn't so holy, a contractual bond emerged, benefitted them both and bound them together, at least for a while. Falling in love was thrown out of the window the moment she signed the contract, she wasn't going to fall in love with an egoistic, arrogant and self-centred-asshole of a lawyer anyways. ••• "No love drama, right?" Poems are a great help to depression. My cover is not be very appealing and my title seems boring. Poems are also not liked by people very much and is considered boring. I may not get many views. But in the end "Don't judge a book by it's cover" only wins. So I have bought you some sad poems, food related ones, poems related to the things I love, Love yourself, Romantic and many more. These are written by me and please don't post it anywhere without my permission. To explain you why I have added a pink heart with black background, it is because the poems tell a story of girl(me) to whom people think she is very cold, straight forward, rude and all those things but... in reality she is too soft for this harsh world. The pink heart represents the softness she is hiding inside using her black side so no one would misuse her. The angel in her still haven't faded after getting betrayed, lost, depressed, fake people, bully and many more. She doesn't wants to go through this again. The pink background in the upper half tell that she still have hopes in her life. I want the readers to know the deep meaning behind the Title themselves and I won't reveal it until the end of the book. Keep your guesses up and think what possibly could be the meaning of this unusual title. Thank you and enjoy the journey of this little girl warning: if you are expecting this to be a story then sorry it isn't a story but a collection of poems written by the "little girl" depending on her mood that time. It is more like a Journey. You could skip it if you want to. Or learn about the little girl I'm representing/my life. COMPLETED, next poetry collection coming soon This is a poetry collection that is both ever updating and ever changing. This collection of poetry isn't exactly traditional or ever a solid complete piece of prose, I am ever adding and changing and morphing them into something I feel is better or is more to what I feel suits the character or the emotion I wrote the poem to embody. That being said, this collection has some works alike the past one that I made a few years back that doesn't quite hold up to standard today. I have poems that I have remade and moved into this collection, so If you have come from the previous collection know that if you recognise the theme it's because of that. I created this intended as both a challenge to write some feelings into something productive as-well as to write some inspired works made for a character I made as I wrote the poem or for a event or piece of media I enjoyed. Nothing is ever solid or at least their perspective will change as I write the poem or rewrite it. Anyways enjoy, I try not to be too pretentious but I don't really care because again this is a vent piece of work.
