Long ago as the old stories go, mythical creatures roamed the world amongst us humans. We all lived peacefully until one day; humans became more selfish. They were fearful of the beast stronger than them, so they sought out blood. War raged on, but the council of the mythical creatures couldn't let this continue on.
So they cast a spell, separating the two societies into different realms. Portals connecting the two were used less and less, making the tales of mythical creatures folklore to the Humankind and the humans simply not worth the time of the creatures. Making the portals seem to be unused for centuries. That is until Kathrine Fontaine.

Katherine Fontaine's life was very normal, but she always had a strange nagging feelings. Her thoughts seemed to speak to her, converse with her. When she told her fathers they took her to a doctor and prescribed olanzapine for bipolar disorder. It made all the thoughts and voices stop unless she was dreaming. The medication did its job as long as she did hers and stayed sober.
So what happens when Kathrine decides to let loose? What happens when her dreams become reality?
