The Void After The Storm

It was raining.

When darkness and void engulfed the little girl's world. She drowned from the flood of despair, sorrow and resentment. And raptured from the heavy gale that hit her home-her haven. Until she lost everything-the shine in her eyes; now devoid of emotions and the light that kept her walking the tough road.

But she continued her journey, found a light at the mid.

Yet, fate played her fool. It let her taste warmth at cold nights, and oasis in a desert, only in a jiffy. When she finally get used to the warm sun, fate had stole it away from her again. She lost her new illumination once again, and walked the path with nothing but darkness as a companion. Indeed, just as love is sweeter in the second time around; despair and pain is heavier in the second time experiencing it.

Perhaps, she's destined to be with darkness.

Or this is just another challenge to test her determination to possess her own light.

Either way, her life's end of tunnel will only tell by her course of choices.
