This takes place three months after the events of the battle with Vecna, Eddie managed to survive the bat attack but max is still in her coma, and the town is split, dr Brenner is still alive due to surviving his gunshot wounds. Eddie and Steve are already dating before the events of this story happen.
The gang was at peace for a while, but still broken-hearted. Their town had been torn apart and Max was still unresponsive in her coma, luckily Eddie had survived his bat wounds and got out of hospital within three weeks. Now it's three months later and Steve is happily dating Eddie. Nothing could've ruined their lives anymore than they already have, but life in Hawkins could never be paradise. Will and Steve mysteriously got a similar illness, which resulted in them gaining unknown abilities, that caught the eye of a specific doctor. Dr Martin Brenner. But it wasn't just Steve and Will he was after, he was also after the one and only...Edward Munson.
There will be trigger warnings at the beginning of each chapter but this will also have some angst and some fluff just to spice it up a bit. Hope you enjoy!

So this starts out as a Eddie x fem (oc again) and warps into a Steddie x fem threesome deal. Doesn't really follow a set timeline in Hawkins, tried to put it somewhere around s4 at least, but with a bit of a modern twist when it comes to sexual orientation. Tw: 5 stages of grief but really really intense (i think) i'm not sure what else i don't really have this planned out i'm just kinda going with it a lot of trauma and mental breakdowns gore and descriptions of pain and like immense grieving (bc obviously... after season 4 like what do u expect) in this story everyone is fine, except for phycological trauma obviously, except for Eddie.
