Belle Beaumont's mother died while Belle was only minutes old. She was raised by the staff, and lives with her two spoiled sisters and her father. When a drought dries up all the crops, her father's money dries up as well. Now, living in a cottage, Belle's father goes back to the city with the hope of getting more money, but he stumbles upon something way more then he bargained for. Her father's life was now at the mercy of the Beast in the Woods, and Belle can't help but intervene. With an affection of roses and the dark, Belle can't help but wonder if there is more to this Beast than he lets on.

We all know the story of Beauty and the Beast. This story follows the outline of the traditional story pretty well with some changes to make it seems more real, more intense, and not such a fairytale. There's a Mansion secluded in the thick forest south of town that Isabelle happened to run into one very stormy night. Denied help from the Master, but aided by the servants, she finds her life intertwined with theirs and there's nothing she can do to stop it. The Master is horrible - beastly. He's powerful, and manages to put Isabelle under a spell of his own. A story of two people learning about themselves by falling in love with the other.
