TW// This book contains highly graphic and disturbing scenes cover art by blaccyee on tumbler . "NO! please, I'm sorry!" "shut the fuck up." A large figure hovered over a small child as loud sobs and guttural screams echoed throughout the once-sleeping cul-de-sac. The horrified gasps of the awakened bystanders filled the air as they watched the traumatizing scene. Swing after swing, the large man struck the boy with unrelenting disgust. one strike to his right patella, another to his femur. A solid metal bat slammed into each and every bone in the boy's body, making him nothing more than minced meat crushed into the pavement; a thick metal ring surrounded his neck, it was too loose to silence him but just tight enough to be tugged towards asphyxiation if the man so pleased. A gruesome act of merciless assassination displayed for all of the public to see. A murder of this caliber would surely be personal right? unfortunately, the man had nothing against the boy; he had no vendetta, and no one else had asked him to commit such a disturbing act of homicide. He had simply wanted to. with a final swing to his cranium, red and blue flashing lights flooded the scene. sobbing mothers held their children close as they tried their best to shield the eyes of their seemingly innocent offspring, while the fathers watered their lawns with half-digested meals. The parents of the boy finally showed face as the large man was tackled and cuffed; they screamed and flailed their fists, crying in a fit of rage and mania, grabbing at the monster the best they could before the police inevitably pulled them back. The blood-stained man did nothing to appease their dissociated minds as he was roughly shoved into the back seat of the cop car. Although manic and exasperated, the man didn't fail to hear the child's parents screaming out one simple question. 'why?' and with a ghastly grin illuminating his disoriented features, he had one thing to say. . "he was impure."

"Trust me." His voice was soft and calming, the way that a good father could be assumed to sound. "This isn't what you want, it never has been and it never will be. Confusion is difficult to work through, but if you just let me help you, I can show you that it can be worked through." He rolled up his sleeve, showing several white streaks across his skin. The other was shocked. "N-no, I'm not good for anything, I'm nothing there's nothing for me." He shook his head many times, holding it in his hands after a bit. "No." "Can I touch you?" The boy who was trying to help this poor soul had approached a few paces. His voice was now quieter, more soft, and still caring. The boy at the bridge took a moment to think, then nodded his approval. The savior gently took the boy's hands delicately in his own and gently pulled the boy back. Well, less of a pull and more of a gentle suggestion. It worked and the boy stumbled down off of the edge. The boy started to cry. How could he be so weak that a boy, the same age as him, who seemed to have the same ideas and hatred toward himself as he, could keep him from stepping off? The other simply gently led him to his vehicle and took out a water bottle out of the backseat. The boy took it and looked at it suspiciously. "It's untampered, look, it's still sealed." Upon seeing this, the boy opened it and took a few sips of water. "Thank you. For the water." The savior smiled. "It's nothing much." He shrugged. "Have a phone? If you want I can put my number in and then you'll always be able to tell someone if you're having a pissy day." Surprisingly enough, the boy agreed. . They would both be around twenty.
