FORMERLY KNOWN AS: Poems of Petals by IamPDB Men and their offsprings had always found the time to wish to the twinkling children of the watchful silver eye of the night, before the goddess' spell befell their eyes. Little do they know, these twinkling lights they see, were the star's last whisper, sent before their forefathers were even born. They wish with their eyes, without knowing their prayers were answered, indirectly. The void above the sky are filled with whispers. Unheard from the deaf ears of man. They converse through the ages, with the thought that the other had died already, fating it as unheard whispers, like the wishes of man. One boy had finally heard these whispers. With but the words taken by his nosy, eavesdropping ears from the lost interstellar conversations, he writes a book. He spends nights with the company of night's howling demons that sting as they caress his skin, under the watchful light of the silver eye.

I flinched at his harsh voice, tears forming in my eyes. "For the world, you will be my wife, but in reality, you are nothing to me." My last hope of mending this relationship shattered into pieces. "Listen very carefully: never dare to raise your voice at me. Understood?" I nodded slowly. "And only answer me if I ask you something. Is that clear?" His tone was dangerously low. Feeling scared, I nodded without looking at him. "Look at me when I'm talking to you." He put his finger under my chin and raised my head. His eyes were full of arrogance and cruelty. My vision blurred with each passing second. His grip on my chin was strong and painful. "Now answer," he ordered in a husky voice. "Ye-Yes," I replied in my shaky voice. ☆_____☆ A girl who believes in true love and soulmates. A boy who has lost his faith in love and soulmates. He is fire. She is ice.
