The story takes place around five years after the third years in game graduated and follows Kanade after N25's split up to pursue different paths in the future. While everyone continues to pursue their dreams together and laugh along side one another, Kanade finds herself alone. While dealing with her complicated feelings she gets an big assignment at her composing job. Note: This is my first ever fic and it took me several months to get the concept. It's a Nightcord at 25:00/ Kanade centric fic with appearances from the other units. I had an idea for an epilogue and I wanted to explore what could happen to them in the future. Hint: everything goes full circle. I'm going off my interpretations of the characters after reading Nightcord at 25:00, WonderlandxShowtime, and Leo/Need's story, so apologies if I missed anything. I am currently going through More More Jump's story right now. Btw my favorite characters are Kanade, Mafuyu, Ichika, and Honami so I really wanted to get them right. It wasn't always like this though. I used to have a pretty mundane existence, happy to just get good grades and be around my friends. God I wish I could get that simplicity back, I'd never complain it was boring again. But I know I'm not going to ever get back my old life because well... I died. (Kinda) But I woke up. And I was thrilled, beyond grateful I wasn't dead. But then I realized that there was one minor detail that had changed about my reality. I was given the chance to live but it turns out I woke up as the villainess in an otome game my friend used to be obsessed with - Kingdom of freaking Hearts (I added the freaking in there for effect, it's just Kingdom of Hearts) Where, for the record, the villainess only has two possible endings 1) execution and 2) getting exiled.
