The memory of how this poem came to be is quite funny now but it definitely wasn't back then! my ex gf had created a fake profile just to message the guy she was cheating on me with. She didn't know that i had found out until she seen this poem. Jasmine was her "fake name"

Anyhoo after about 8 years of the back and forth chaos and lies, tit for tat and hurting each other. I simply decided to leave, but just because I left didn't mean my feelings had faded. So I vented to my pen and paper.All Rights Reserved

I used to think there'd be no living without you. Then, you walked away. Like it was the easiest thing in the world. We finally stopped making sense to you. So, you left. Why wouldn't you. It didn't matter that it still made sense to me. That I still held on to all those what ifs and unanswered questions of us. Still hoped for things to work out somehow. Still needed things to work out. Needed it like food and water. This story might not make much sense to you, reader. It was written for him. And in many ways for myself. But I am grateful for your desire to explore our life's tale non the less. It was quite something. I hope you'll get something out of it.

Time Can't Heal This by Lauryn_Love

I've always hated the saying "Time heals all wounds." Maybe in most cases that may be true. In my experience with life and pain however, time has only ever bled out the wound. The scars that the wounds left behind though, are often so deep that just looking at them becomes painful to the mind. Time only heals what you let go of. Sometimes letting go and moving on just doesn't feel possible; no matter how much time you let pass you by. These poems signify what time hasn't healed for me.
