After Dean died, the Mark awakened him and now he's a demon. No humanity Liz gets her revenge on someone from her past. Dean then gets cured, and Liz is back to her normal self, thanks to Henry and Crowley. Dean struggles with the Mark of Cain and Liz recruits Castiel to help her get the Mark of Cain off of Dean and she doesn't tell Sam. Liz finally gets to meet her birth mother and she's not how Liz pictured her. Liz asks her mother to help her remove the Mark of Cain off her boyfriend's arm and she makes a deal with her mother. There is a great loss and Dean blames Liz for it. Liz will stop at nothing to get that Mark of Dean's arm, even if it it kills her.

After Dean stabbed and killed Liz, Henry was so devastated that he did the one thing he could do and that was bring his mother back and by doing so he summoned a demon, the demon granted Henry's wish, but told him that his mother wouldn't be the same, but Henry didn't care he just wanted his mom back. Once Henry got Liz back, Liz is furious that Henry brought her back and she finds out she doesn't have her angel grace, so that makes her human.
