A second chance may not be the saving grace that people may think it is. It's just prolonging your suffering with an added chip of being the only undeserving chap to do so.
Old habits die hard as they say. He would rather stick to his past actions than listen to his own (and other's) wise words.
He should listen. It's good for his ruining health and despairing mind.
'Heal-thy Eyes Mind Bodies and Lungs' is the motto he will have to learn to live with.
This is my first attempt at Naruto fanfic. And the main character will be Itachi, although there will be chapters where he is not the focal point.
I would like to clear it up first- No coherent plot points thought up beforehand, so don't expect any grand story.
No promises of any updates. I may not even update the next chapter. It wholly resides on my mood.

"Don't make this any harder than it has to be, Sakura." I swallowed hard, my body shaking. I can't believe this is actually happening. Who knew that it will actually end up like this? I knew that I have to save Naruto and Sasuke-kun so that we could run away and hide before it's too late. "I-I'm not opening the door." I took a step backwards, looking at the kitchen. There was a knife on the counter, I needed it. If he is going to break inside, I have to fight back in order to get out of here. I quickly get it and face the door once again. I take a deep breath and tighten the grip on the knife's handle. There was one big question that kept running inside my mind over and over again. When will this nightmare end? Sasuke, Sakura and Naruto suddenly found themselves stuck in their own "ideal world"; a world with no chakra, ninjas, wars and just peace, tranquility and happiness. Their loved ones who were once dead are alive and the place they called home is back to normal again. Everything seems perfect, right? Wrong.
