After eventually gaining the trust of the solar animatronic, he begins to change drastically. His stares softened and strayed from hate over the ongoing months, and his fans sped up increasingly whenever she'd come too close to him. If only she'd realized sooner that Sun's stares had become looks of longing and of lust, if only she knew what went on through their shared headspace, and if only she had been less dense, maybe she wouldn't be running for her life. Heads up, I did not design this cover. I got it from YouTube on a Sonne meme video by Clay_ This is the first story I've ever written that I've actually intended for other people to read, so expect mistakes. I'm also looking for advice on how to improve this story like a beta reader, if you will. If you have a comment, criticism, or advice for me, please don't hesitate to post it as long as it's constructive. This story was inspired by the Solarballs YouTube channel. It will be different from the show's canon because it is an AU. There will be no ships because I think it's just weird to ship celestial bodies (no hate, just my opinion). All celestial bodies will also be genderless (but feel free to imagine them as whatever gender you want) because they're cosmic beings; why would they have gender? (Again, no hate) This story will focus on the Sun's backstory (with bits concentrating on other characters, namely other stars that helped shape Sun's character) because there is a disappointing lack of Sun-centric fan fiction. There will be both happy and angsty chapters (and a lot of headcannons), so prepare for a wild ride!

When an unexpected stranger shows up as a substitute teacher at his new school, his entire existence flips upside-down. Truths about who and what he really is, are finally out but now he has to navigate a treacherous and dangerous path where friendship and loyalty are illusions, good is bad and up is down to save himself and everyone else as a prince's life is never simple, especially during war. Not to mention a war against his very own psychotic paternal family. Amidst deception, being constantly hunted and discovering immeasurable power within himself, holding on to his humanity seems harder and harder for his already shaky sense of morals, making him lose bits of himself in the process. Can he survive his new reality unscathed or will it be his undoing?
