But things become a bit messier when the Queen orders her to assassinate the Crowned prince and heir to the throne, Prince Alexandr Romanov. Before Maia can get the chance to kill Alexandr, there is an attack on the castle, and the King and Queen are massacred. While in the king's dying breath, she makes Maia promise to protect Alexander with her life. So Maia leads Alexandr into the forest and embarks on a journey to save their kingdom.
