Mature
This story takes place in a small town, 70 miles out of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. It is the year 1997.

Antonne is a black teenager who lives with his grandmother, in a primarily white neighborhood. He and his grandmother have always been chastised and frowned upon for being black, because of this Antonne never tried making friends. He had always been alone during school and work days, and he was okay with that. He would have to live like this until he moved away from this God-forsaken town..

During a completely normal lunch period, Antonne discovered that a new girl had arrived earlier that day. This girl had primarily Asian features, presenting more Filipino. Antonne had never had any friends, he didn't even know any other person of color besides his grandmother. The fact that she was a girl made it even harder to approach her..

He hopes that he doesn't come off creepy, and he hopes that he'll be able to get to know this girl better, although she does seem awfully.. cold...
