Lucy has been living with her abusive parents for fourteen years. One day, the bau bursts through the door, killing her father to save her and arresting her mother on six counts of murder.
To prevent her from being more traumatized in the foster care system, Derek Morgan adopts Lucy and she moves in with him. Together with the rest of the team, Morgan makes it his job to help Lucy overcome her past and help her with the trauma she's been through. But can they do this?
