When the first cybertronians discovered Earth, they knew of a great battle to come and left behind a mystical staff. Ages later, Lila Vinci is forced to take it and uphold her family's legacy. Her choice between Autobots and Decepticons, between good and evil, becomes paramount to the outcome of the war.
At first, Lila is terrified, but slowly is lulled into submission by the charms of both the Autobot and Decepticon leaders, and the vehicon army, who gladly take her in as one of their own. Lila must make a difficult choice between doing what is right and doing what her heart tells her. Mystical forces attack in her dreams while rebellion begins to stir aboard the Nemesis.
Through all her trials and battles, Lila finds that when she is closest to victory, her world will be shattered. It seems there will no happt endings to this story. Not when destiny is so determined to place her at the epicenter of the war.
