Fives managed to escape the Jedi Temple on Courasant, but not without a huge price: losing Shaak Ti. Clutching her lightsaber, Fives makes a jump into a new era.
Clone Force 99, more commonly known as The Bad Batch, call for help after they receive a message from someone hopelessly trapped in an Imperial prison. Rex relays the message to Fives, hoping he'll step in to help. His abilities alone would benefit the whole team, making the chances of survival high.
Fives is torn between staying with the team and helping them, or making himself distant to protect them from the dreaded Inquisitors after him. One specific Inquisitor is bloodthirsty and is after his head, making Fives a danger to The Bad Batch.
