Princess Twilight Sparkle, or rather QUEEN Twilight Sparkle, is all grown up, has gone into Full Royalty, and is one of Equestria's leaders. But being immortal comes with a cost, as she figures out. Her mortal friends have all died, and now she is only left with the company of Flurry Heart, Hope Moore, Starlight Glimmer, and her husband, Flash Sentry. But with Evil Sombra rising once again, she is left to face the darkness by herself. Can she do it...or will she give in to the raging Midnight Sparkle of her dreaded past?

This is a story I'm Writing about the shipping from MLP, FlashLight. The Majority of this fic takes place in the Alternate Universe , where humans come from. Also know as the Equestria Girls world. Twilight Sparkle and her friends travel to the Crystal Empire for her first princess summit. Twilight feels both nervous and excited about the event and is self-conscious about wearing her crown. However, her friends are supportive as always. When they meet with the other princesses, Celestia notices how tired Twilight and her friends look after their journey and sends all eight of them off to bed. Later that night, a cloaked unicorn sneaks into the castle and steals Twilight's crown. The next morning, Princess Celestia identifies the thief as Sunset Shimmer, her former student. The princesses explain that the mirror from which Sunset Shimmer escaped is a gateway to an alternate world and task Twilight with going into this other world to retrieve her crown.
