It was a normal day on Planet Vegeta like any other. However, one day, word got out that Lord Arctic, a tyrannical space emperor was on his way to destroy the planet along with everyone on it. Soon after, hundreds of thousand of Lord Arctic's soldiers began to massacre the Saiyans, along with your parents.
