Historical
With little choice, 25 year old Martha Smyth agrees to an arranged marriage to William Andersen. Martha finds herself a wife in name only, caring for William's two children while he serves in the Union Army. While William is away the two begin to exchange letters, will it be enough to make a marriage of convenience blossom into a marriage of love? !!Disclaimer!! This story is largely inspired by a book by Claire Sanders. I've changed characters names and most of the basic plot, but the idea is still inspired by her original book.

The Twisted Tale A slow-burn, arranged marriage romance Arohi never believed in fairy tales - especially not the kind written in ink and obligation. Fierce, stubborn, and unafraid to speak her mind, she was the storm no one could tame. Veeransh was the heir of tradition - cold-eyed, steel-hearted, carrying the weight of a family's expectations on his broad shoulders. When an arranged marriage binds them together, it feels less like a union and more like a battlefield. She vows to guard her heart. He promises he won't fall. But love has a way of blooming in the ruins of shattered walls. In a world where duty wars with desire, and pride wrestles with tenderness, Arohi and Veeranshu must decide: Will they fight their fate - or find a home in each other's arms?
