You, (u) zoldyck, are the second born into the zoldyck family. Only a year younger than your older brother illumi, the only problem? Your not capable of becoming heir because your female, and in being so, you were rejected by your family. Outcasted from a young age you were raised by the families butlers, honing your skills, and outshining your brothers in every aspect, yet never being enough because a girl can never be an assassin, and so when your exiled from the family at 16 you became a bounty hunter, soon known, and feared by many as "The Reaper" due to your iconic Black cloakings concealing your identity, and gender from the world. Reaping your targets heads with no mercy. That is until target number 1226, Mr. Chrollo Luclifer. Little did you know when you set your eyes on the five billion dollar bounty on his head that he would change everything.

Illumi is given an unusual mission for an elite assassin that he is. Find and bring home the daughter of a tribal leader from an extremely secluded land far to the north called Terradmira. Why was he given this task? Who is this girl? He will soon find out the role she will eventually play in his life and the trouble that comes with the seemingly limitless power she possesses. The Terradmirian girl is not an average Nen user, nor has she paid much attention to it. What was not mentioned in the mission details given to Illumi is that she is the reincarnation of an ancient being with immense power. This being has existed for centuries, only to be reborn every hundreds of years. Each reincarnation has all of the memories of the ones before. Being overwhelmed and confused by these memories, the girl finds that she is unsure of what to do and what her purpose is, causing her to go on the run. The long haired assassin and the girl are in for a surprise upon completion of the mission. Once they return back to the Zoldyck manor, the real plan is revealed and the two learn of the real situation they are put in. ****** This is my first time writing a fanfic. I chose Illumi because I feel that there aren't enough Illumi x reader stories out there and that he is a very complex character.
