She starts to give up and is thinking about caving in and just being normal like everyone else, but something changes that or should I say someone.
She meets a boy named Alex that seems to make her heart skip a beat and she thinks he may feel the same about her. Amy is scared to tell her moms and friends that she is straight, but builds up the courage.
