Avery Harrison posses powers that many do not. She is blessed with the gift of being a witch. The world frowns upon the magical kind, assuming their powers could only lead to dangerous outcomes. After the traumatizing experience of watching her parents be murdered, Avery's only remaining family-her grandmother-sends her across the country to the one place where she will be safe and able to learn how to use her powers properly. There, she becomes acquainted with many of her kind, not only witches, but wizards as well. A special wizard with curly locks and green eyes so impossibly bright peeks her interest.
