I Will Only ever Lived as a Side Character

In stories, there is always a side character.

Someone to filled up spaces in between, not someone as important or noteworthy to remember by the end of story. Someone so easily replaceable.

I suppose that would described "Catherine" as a person. She was the main character's first and loyal friend. Who unconditional gives her support to the character and if she ever need her to do something, Catherine would always do it without question.

She was a nice and lovely person, I'd like to believe. But that was all she is. She was never important to the plot and any screen time she had were always involved around the protagonist. So when she got shafted to the side to make room for new characters, no one cared.

It really is a shame, really.

Especially since I reincarnated as her.
