About 8 years after graduating from Night Raven College, Jamil comes back home to Silk City after a long journey. 

"Wait, Kalim has a kid?" Jamil curiously asked his sister.

"You really didn't know what was happening here when you were gone were you?" 

Jamil wasn't paying much attention to what was happening in his homeland. It was the first time he was ever free to do anything and he didn't need to worry much about anything. He was going from place to place seeing the world, from the highest of mountains to the deepest of seas. He didn't to know what was happening there, he didn't need to know. But Kalim being a father was not the news he expected.

Carl stumbled to a mirror, and sure enough, he was staring at Kalim's reflection. His hair, his clothes-everything was the same. "I... I'm Kalim?" Carl whispered. "How is this even possible?" Still in disbelief, he realized there was no time to waste. If he was Kalim now, he might as well live his life to the fullest-just like Kalim would.
