After watching the most emotionally devastating show, your friend offers to cook you a meal in the diner they work at. Just what you needed! Sure, they may have zero experience when it comes to cooking and they may be the only chef, but that doesn't matter!

It was a simple process. They serve you the... "food" they worked so hard perfecting on, and you'd criticize it early in the morning.

It was supposed to be simple, not with you passing out and waking up in the middle of nowhere. There's sentient objects, otherworldly challenges, and a host that refuses to show himself.

You only hope to get home by the end of all this.

Or maybe... you'll find a new home within others.
