This book takes place in the 80's and is the story of Dawn and Lei, two teenagers who travel to Orlando for the summer, in hopes of making memories before their senior year of high school. But in the span of eight weeks, Dawn falls in love and thinks she's found the love of her life. With senior year around the corner, she doesn't know what to do. Should she stay in Orlando and leave everything behind to be with them, or go back to Indiana? The answer lies within the pages.

Summers are supposed to be that time of the year that you should look forward to. No school, hours at the beach, late night parties. What's not to love? Three words. My neighbor's grandson. For once in her life, Maliah Arias is looking forward to her summer. It's the summer before senior year and life couldn't be better. She has a hot college boyfriend, plenty of Dl soccer scholarship offers, and she just went through a massive glow up. To make matters better, her neighbor's annoying yet very hot grandson, Jackson Cruz, who usually visits every summer, is away in Europe. When circumstances change, Maliah finds herself once again in the presence of Jackson, who seems hell-bent on making her life miserable. Although as time passes, the two of them find themselves growing closer and closer, whether they like it or not. Tears are shed, hearts are broken, and Maliah finds herself wondering if she'll be able to survive the summer and make it to senior year.
