The old legends state that five children, born from the deities, will appear in the five chosen villages every 1,000 years. Once the children are born, competition would begin. The competition is to keep their holy child alive and to kill off the other four. Once only one holy child remains that village will gain the power to rule over all the other rebel lands, installing a new Royal City.
But what if the children are tired of the fighting? Do they have what it takes to change a tradition that has existed for over 6,000 years?
This is a story of love, family, and friendship, but also of war, betrayal, and loss. Follow Sela, Niko, Cilo, Priscilla, and Dahlia as the sixth Old Legends cycle plays out.
The priest asked softly,
"Pyaar karte ho apni patni se?"
He smiled, his eyes instinctively finding hers. There was calm in his expression, yet something deeply intense beneath it.
Then he whisper,
"Pyaar toh bas ek shabd hai..."
His voice carried devotion, not hesitation.
"Main uski ibadat karta hoon."
He paused, as if the truth itself needed space to breathe.
"I don't need to worship God in temples. I have my own goddess - my wife."
For him, faith was not stone or scripture.
"My devotion begins with her..."
"...and ends with her."
