The Drifter

Alexander Caldwell is a cynical and depressed Lycan werewolf living in the green slopes of the inner Rocky Mountains in Colorado. Living fifty miles from the nearby small town of Aurora Hills, he prefers to live in seclusion from society, having been living in hiding from the masses for as long as he can remember. While popping in every now and then in town, Alexander always keeps to himself and wishes not to interact with most people. That is, until that very Halloween evening, he's severely hit by a speeding car out of nowhere. Incredibly, he's hit by someone he never thought he'd meet his whole life: his mate. A young human woman named Isabelle Martinez, vacationing in the Rockies for the month of November after dealing with a year's worth of a hectic life in the world of music. It's only from then on that Alexander's life is turned upside-down as he feels cornered, not sure what he's supposed to do about his newfound discovery and is afraid he would have to crawl out of the shell he spent decades hiding underneath. As Isabelle learns more about her mystery man, she feels determined to have Alexander come out of his comfort zone and help him re-enter the world he used to be a part of. But will the hermetic Lycan be willing enough to emerge out of his fear of the unknown?
