After staying out later than she expected, the popular Layla looses her voice. Literaly. After meeting the supernatural.
Scared that Layla would expose the beings, they take away her voice. She can't yell, talk, or use her beautiful voice to sing. The next day, she returns to school. People shun her, and her friends shut her out.
She keeps going out, night after night. Searching for the creatures that took the most important thing away from her. One night she runs into Jake, the schools bad boy. He seems to understand her. And Layla would do anything to get her voice back, even if it means pairing up with him.
After spending some time with Jake, Layla is becoming suspicious. He doesn't seem completely, normal.
Why does he want to help her? Why does he care when she isn't who she was? What if Jake isn't who he claim to be?

I was always told that werewolves were fake. I understood that. But something happens at school one day that I don't know how to explain other than the fact that there was werewolves involved.
