modernity - the quality or condition of being modern.

venti felt he was modern. or well, close to being modern.

he didn't go to college, and worked minimum wage.

the only thing not modern about him? he was a faceless music artist on youtube, and he was pretty popular. oh, and the fact that he sure as hell isn't straight.
