Heatwave has been a questionable bot for quite some time now. He prefers hiding his emotions and whenever someone says something about his birth family, he always avoids the topic. This was unusual to everyone, but it become normal after a while.
But, there's always a person that gets a story going.
Cody Burns. He was always suspicious of what the red and yellow fire bot was hiding. He knew something was wrong. And with that, curiosity got the better of him. Cody was going to figure out what was wrong with Heatwave.
But most importantly, why.

Adopting a helpless, abandoned sparkling doesn't seem so complicated at first, but this one happens to have a dangerous secret, one none of them know. And when that secret casts over the team in a dark shadow with questionable motives and a mysterious links to her past, Quickshadow has to make one of the most difficult choices in her functioning: give up her one chance to save someone she thought she'd lost, or risk everything to protect her new-found family. He decides to assign BlueBand, a type II ambulance being trained under the stern guidance of Ratchet. Just as the new Bot is beginning to get used to Griffin Rock, Dr. Morocco sets off a gas bomb in an encounter. All seems fine until the Rescue Bots are unable to transform out of their holoform into their bot form, and it's up to BlueBand to figure out a way to undo it. While crossing into dangerous boundaries to find new information, something goes wrong, something very wrong.
