"You are, I think, an evening star..."

Young student Theresa Montoya has lots of conflicts in her life - some internal, some external - but has never had much time to reflect on those conflicts. With school and friends occupying the majority of her free time, there are no open opportunities for her to think about them. To add fuel to the fire, she has a set layout of how she lives and how her future is to look. It takes a push for her entire life structure to crumble; only then does she see the truth about herself.
It's not quite what she wants, but it's not like she can help it.

"... the fairest of all of the stars."
