Samantha Marrun's parents died when she was young. She was taken in by her Uncle Ron, who was known for his experiments. When Sam showed potential for the life of shadows, Ron injected her with a experimental power source that he had tested out. So far it had killed several guinea pigs, and 8 mice, but he figured it would have a different result on humans. He was right. A few years later and Sam has run away in hopes of finally being able to act normal, however she has found out that no matter how hard she wants to forget her past, she still craves the thrill of the unseen.
