Danielle Gates has lived amongst humans for years. Her entire life, actually. But when a blue police box appears in her room, her curious mind takes hold and she enters without a knock.

"Danielle! Great to see you! Now, we have much to do! Grab your things and let's go!" A man yells out, surprising me. I almost jump out of my skin as he hops up, onto the railing. It's the taxi driver from earlier today.

I shake my head at him. "Who are you? Really and truly?" I ask, looking around the box that's bigger on the inside.

"Me? Told you. I'm the Doctor..."

He looks at me with a mischievous grin.
