Jacoby Ethan ”Jake” Good is a 17 year old boy who is pretty normal if you look away from the facts that he and his friends are all outcasts, and that he is gay. Up until recently, he had a perfect boyfriend… Or so he thought.
His ex Skyler had been loving, caring, reliable, respectful, a good listener and had been there for Jake through thick and thin through their almost a year long relationship. No matter what, they had always been supporting and helping each other, taking care of each other, loving each other… But then in less than five minutes, they went from what people would refer to as the perfect couple to being ex-boyfriends.
Jake knows he cannot go on ignoring his ex forever as they have the exact same friends, but can he bring himself to talk to him yet? And what will happen when they finally do talk to each other again? Will the two of them ever get back together, or do they have to try to move on? And why did his gay ex suddenly cheat on him – with the biggest female slut of the school – when they were in a committed, serious relationship? Will Jake get try to get an explanation from Skyler or just try to stay friends with him because of their common friends? And if they do get back together, will it last the second time they try to be in a relationship or just end the same way again?
