She is the only daughter of Head Master Saladin of Red Foutain, and cousin of Helia. She is the Fairy of the Shadow-Flame, a power originating from her mothers home planet -Sphyria. A planet now destroyed due to the greed of one man.

Growing up she was always bullied for being a seemingly 'stuck up little brat' who leeched off of her fathers successes. So in spite of them, she trained to improve her magical and physical stats.

But then a fateful encounter with an earth fairy and princess, has her wounding up in Alfea college for fairies. Facing challenges, adventure and enemies on almost a daily. Though what else was to be expected in being a member of the 'Winx'? However somewhere along the way she finds herself constantly bumping in to the mysterious blonde prince.

Whilst the untold parts and truths of history begin to slowly reveal themselves.

This is the story of Athena, The Fairy of the Shadow-Flame or as more commonly known 'The War Fairy'.

This story is mainly gonna follow the original storyline, but I will be adding and changing a few things to better fit my story.
